Cryosauna- what is this?
Cryosauna is the system for providing cryotherapy where temperature is in the range from-160 to -130 oC.
Cryotherapy- what is this?
Cryotherapy (Cryogenic physiotherapy) is the method of agitating of skin receptors. Cryotherapy possesses powerful immune stimulating action and ensures the treatment of great number of diseases.
What are the effects of the Cryo-therapy?
The defining of effectiveness of cryo-therapy is quite simple. Cold air stimulates the cold receptors (under human skin we have approx. 200 000 of them), which send signals to the brain. The brain under strong signaling stimulation by the cold receptors starts producing endorphines, which through the chain reaction restart immuno-endocrinal-system. Through restarting of the immuno-endocrinal system we restart other systems - central nerve system, blood circulation system, blood exchange, thermal-exchange. That is the basis for treatment of many ilnesses, like skin ilnesses (psoriasis, celulitis, etc.), auto-immunity diseases, immunity diseases, it has very strong influence on patients with arthritis (e.g. knee pain treatment), regeneration of tissue and suppression of the pain for sportsmen, different sport injuries. It is also effective by the people with lung ilnessees
(bronchial astma), blood circulation diseases, etc.
The action spectrum of cryo-therapy is very wide. An interesting feature is the fact, that it increases the micro-circulation of blood in the skin and therefore it´s actions are possible to use in beauty salons and wellness centres as well.
What does patient feels during cryotherapy?
Patient’s feelings in cryosauna are dependent on gas temperature. In accordance with operating temperature we can define 3 groups of procedures:
- Extreme cryotherapy — gas temperature is lower than -160oC,
- Normal cryotherapy — from -160 to -130oC,
- Low temperature hypothermia— is more than 130oC.
Feelings under extreme cryotherapy are almost the same as swimming in icy water. Normal cryotherapy is 3 times more comfortable. Under low temperature hypothermia the discomfort is less.
It is necessary to note that the discomfort from the contact with cooling gas is not connected with medical effect. Signals, forcing the immune system to mobilize, extend the other parts of central nervous system. The is no need to endure the sharp cold in extreme therapy cryosaunas, as their medical effect 3 times lower, than under normal cryotherapy.
Individual cryosauna or group cryosauna, what kind shall I choose?
The choice of cryosauna can be substantiated according to ideas of economy, safety, convenience and medical effect.
Individual cryosauna is the cheapest system. Its price is no more than 21.000€ Group cryosauna costs more than 100.000€.
Individual cryosaunas "KRION" are arranged so, as the patient and the doctor are in constant contact, and cooling gas comes only up to shoulders. If it is necessary, the patient can leave cryosauna himself.
In group cryosaunas the communication between doctor and the patients is going by means of communication device, and to leave the cooling area it is necessary to pass two doors, one is the door cabin, and the other is the lock.
Many patients are afraid of closed space. In cryosauna the scary feeling increases because of poor visibility.
Individual cryosauna provides optimal conveniences for every patient. Such cryosauna can operate even for one patient, the preparation time for the treatment is 5 minutes.
Group cryosauna is cooled for no less 2 hours, in order to return operation expenditures it is necessary to serve the group of 20-30 patients.
Cryosauna is open at the top. Does it reduce the medical effect?
Theoretically, keeping “the head in warm atmosphere” reduces the effect for 2-3%. In practice, according to high refrigerant capacity of cryosauna only there, even body cooling is provided, so cryosaunas "KRION" is 3-4 times more effective than other similar systems.
How is the delivery organised?
After placing your order, time for manufacturing is 40 days.
Cryosauna's delivery outside Saint-Petersburg is realized in cargo railway container. Before sending, cryosauna has all the necessary tests. Then parts of cryosauna in the package, providing short time storage is packed in the container. The customer receives, unloads the container and stores the parts of cryosauna. The weight of parts is about 90kg (the total weight is no more 420kg).
For proper transporting all the door apertures during the whole transportation way should have 800mm width.
The cryosauna assembling takes about 5 hours.
You don´t have to do the assembly of the installation yourself.
